This was my second book by Stephenia and I really enjoyed it. The Swindler's Daughter definitely had me captivated and I wanted to know more about Lillian and the predicament she finds herself in. We immediately meet her and her mother as she is being read the will from her estranged father. As soon as you meet the mother you will dislike her. She is something else! This was such a good story. I really enjoyed the mystery element to this one and how it made me wonder at the secrets of Lillian's father. It held my attention well and I all but devoured it. The romance element was done very well and was natural to the story and Jonah was a great character. Enjoyed this book!
