Whew. This is not a light, easy read, but it IS a powerful one, and Erica has written it beautifully.
In Come Forth as Gold, which is the author's first book, you see everything through Claude's point of view, and it was really interesting to see Kitty's side of things in After the Water Brooks. It was also heartbreaking to see things from Lia's point of view.
This book is unashamedly Christian, and I loved the message spoken throughout: forgiveness and redemption. I shed many tears while readin ...more
