What a wonderful story set in Ireland. Moira is such a great character. She gets mistreated by some of the townsfolk after rumors about her mother circulate. However, she handles it pretty well and is so strong and kind. I felt bad for the things she had to endure. This was a beautiful story of legacy, faith and forgiveness. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because even though it was very well written and had a strong message of faith, I also found some parts very slow and very depressing. There are trigger warnings for sexual assault and grief as well. (Ebook)

What a delightful story! I enjoyed the setting immensely, since I have Irish ancestry, myself. The dialogue made it easy to "hear" the Irish lilt in my mind. This story contains love, mystery, intrigue, and kept my attention throughout. I shed a few tears, but also found a touch of humor. I definitely recommend it! I look forward to reading more books by Jennifer.
