This book is a debut novel. All I can say is wow! This book is so good. Della comes to the Lamson home because she thinks that she answered a want ad for a teaching position. Turns out it was want ad for a wife, but the intended husband isn't the one who wrote it but his parents. Widowed with 3 sons, Hank does not want to get remarried. Especially when he thinks women just want his money which has been the case in the past after his wife died.

A sweet story that combines the Mail-Order Bride and Marriage of Convenience Trope. Easy read but not so light that it is drivel.
