This book is an amazing opener to what I can only imagine will be a wonderful book series. I have read all most all of Tracie Peterson’s book and this one did not disappoint.
Addie Bryant’s life was not an easy one. It has been full of hurt, disappointment, and pain. The only bright spot she can remember is Isaac Hanson. Even though they knew each other for such a short time as children, they both knew they were meant to be together. When they are reunited as adults, Addie is afraid her past wil ...more

Remember Me is a great start to a new series by Tracie Peterson, who is well known for her Christian historical fiction books.
Addie, who has survived an abusive family and being sold to the owner of a brothel must now learn how to survive on her own after her husband is killed. Her brothers are determined to find her and take her money and Addie has to outsmart them to get away.

I haven't picked up a Tracie Peterson novel in five years. The gorgeous cover, the premise and potential of this story called me back to her writing. Initially, I thought this story would have a much darker undertone due to the difficult subject matter included, but it ends up being an uplifting story that focuses on trusting God through the hard times.

Addie Bryant has escaped from the Yukon after her brothers sold her to a brothel owner, and is now working as a photographer, training Camera Girls to operate and sell the brownie camera.
While working an Expo, she runs into Isaac Hanson, the love of her life. Though she just wants him to forget about her because she can’t get over her past.
She believes she will never have the future that she always dreamed about and struggles a lot with why does God allow bad things to happen.
I really enjoyed ...more

I loved the suspenseful and sweet story of Addie Bryant.
She is sold to a brothel owner by her cruel brothers after the death of their father. After the death of the brothel owner, she escapes from her life in the Yukon to travel to Seattle and start a new life. She also hopes to find Isaac who once claimed her heart but who left the Yukon before the death of her father.

Wow! What a fantastic book! This book has it all! Murder, intrigue, mystery, love and most importantly faith in God! The characters are phenomenal! Addie is such a strong woman. She deals with so much in her life and yet she perseveres. Isaac is so full of love! He's the perfect example of Christ's love for us. I found all of the scripture inspiring and encouraging! A definite must read!
