Between 3.5-4⭐️ This was a very unique second book! Why? Well the first almost half of the story takes place at the same time as the previous book. Sometimes that made it seemed slow, but other times I was intrigued by the different angle to the story and the moments we didn’t get to see in “A Noble Masquerade”.

Colin made this story! His witty conversations and banter with Georgiana were the cherry on top for me. Georgiana was such a snob in the last book, but I had high hopes for her! She didn ...more

This is a sequel to A Noble Masquerade. Please note this book begins in the middle of A Noble Masquerade but with Georgina and Mr McCrae's perspectives. It was interesting to see it from their side.
The book gets into new territory about halfway in and from there it is excellent. I really enjoyed their story and Georgina's coming to the Lord. ...more
