This book brought a new depth to Kristi’s writing that I couldn’t stop reading. Georgina was a fabulous character to read from and Colin was charming and quick-witted, making them the perfect pair.

The faith aspect was amazing too! Georgina’s growth was satisfying and inspiring.
The same wit as the first book is here too!

Oh another thing I loved was that we got to see scenes from A Noble Masquerade from Georgina and Colin’s perspective and I loved that!!!

Definitely recommend and can’t wait to

An Elegant Facade is a wonderful story of how lives can be affected by misdiagnosis or the unknown of certain conditions. This story has romance, society longings, trust, secrets, love lost and love found and so much more. I enjoy this author's writing and the way the secret is revealed. I wanted to keep reading each page so I could find out what would happen next. A really good story that is hard to put down. I look forward to reading more by this author. ...more

I enjoy Regency romances once in awhile. This was a fun read. I appreciated the element of faith. It was a good plot with Lady Georgina trying to hide her "secret" from her family and society. The story was a little slow in the middle, but I liked the characters and the storyline. I have the feeling I would have enjoyed the "slow middle" more if I had read the previous novel. ...more

Wow! This book was amazing and will be one of my forever favorites. To take a character like Georgina who was an absolute spoiled brat in the first two stories and turn her in to a character I now adore is quite a feat that Kristi Ann Hunter managed to pull off. When we learn Georgina's backstory she becomes one of the most interesting and likeable characters I have encountered in all my years of reading. The humor in this book was fantastic and kept me laughing throughout and I loved the sparin ...more

This is a sequel to A Noble Masquerade. Please note this book begins in the middle of A Noble Masquerade but with Georgina and Mr McCrae's perspectives. It was interesting to see it from their side.
The book gets into new territory about halfway in and from there it is excellent. I really enjoyed their story and Georgina's coming to the Lord.

So well written. Excellent period book. I felt so connected to the characters I was sad when the book was over. I love how part of the The Elegant Facade was connected to the The Noble Masquerade. The stories were woven together and it was like I was revisiting with old friends. Great read!
