What Members Thought
Honestly surprised at how much I liked it. I've heard so much about how it was overhyped and overrated, but I found myself reading it compulsively. Maybe it's because I am fascinated by stories of people who reinvent themselves. Thankfully, I'd successfully avoided all adaptations so had only a vague idea of the plot. The only weakness IMHO is the language - sometimes it's truly impressive, clear and sharp as hell, but other times it seems so pretentious that it completely obfuscates the meaning
