After going through the first few pages, it felt as if I was putting a stone on my chest, and with each passing page, the stone set itself hard against my bones. Somehow it grew, it grew larger, weighing me down with its impenetrable surface until either it dissolved silently in my body, making my body its newfound home, or perhaps it slipped away like a dried leaf when I was not paying much attention to its stone cold domination over me.
