Ho finito. Devo dire che ho fatto molta fatica nonostante fossero poche pagine. Non so se sia stata colpa della traduzione o di un mediocre ghostwriter.

So solo che ho perso il conto di tutte le volte che ho trovato scritto la parola "corpo". E la cosa, non so perché, mi ha dato fastidio.

Per quanto riguarda il messaggio che vuole mandare al figlio (e a tutti noi) vorrei non esprimermi.. considerato che ho avuto la fortuna di nascere in un luogo sicuro e protetto, ho avuto due genitori amorevoli c ...more

Una lunga e accorata lettera scritta per il figlio in cui l'autore racconta la sua infanzia, descrivendo cosa significhi nascere e crescere da persona di colore in un mondo dominato dai bianchi.
I contenuti sono interessanti e più che onorevoli, ma la lettura mi è risultata pesante, forse anche perché il testo è molto fitto, inframmezzato solo di tanto in tanto da qualche foto. ...more
