Ok, first of all I was so so excited for this book, and I was not disappointed! I’ll read anything Holly Jackson writes and this was no different.

OKAY THE PLOT TWISTS OH MY LORD. I GUESSED THE LEAST SIGNIFICANT ONE AND I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH MYSELF. WHAT A BOOK. I never thought i could go from hating a character so much to loving one, and loving a character so much to hating one. oh my god. I have a whiplash from this book. it was SO good. SO good. HOLLY JACKSON NEVER FAILS 💪🫶🏻

This is my least favorite of Holly's, I feel like I never fully clicked with it, but I did enjoy it. It definitely had those signature plot twists, and I think the plot/characters were very unique and haven't been done very heavily in this genre. Sometimes these type of thriller YA mystery books can feel a touch copy and paste, but I liked the distinctness of this one. My only complaint is that Bel and Ash's ending was criminal 😭 How are you ok leaving it like that?! I was waiting for an epilogu
