my first issue is annabel. she is mean and obnoxious to everyone. when rachel appeared, she was so mean for no reason at all! i understood that rachel seemed like a stranger to bel, yet it doesn’t excuse the hostile attitude she’s giving to rachel. she is rude to people around her even when she needed their help. she acted so arrogant all the ...more

why do i feel like reading mysteries is a race against the characters to try and figure it out before they do. i hate every single decision they make but somehow they're also 100 times smarter than me?? why.

Stop looking for a similar book like A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, it’s here, she did it again. She has to come up with this type of books every year, she is so good at it I’m sure we will eat it up every time! ✨
• Binged in a day. I couldn’t wait to sit down and listen this one.
• I loved the atmosphere, felt like a movie, felt like a true crime series, it was unbelievable.

3.5⭐️ I really like Holly Jackson's writing, and as always have enjoyed this too! However, with this book, in the last quarter there were too many reveals and plot twists, and for me sometimes less is more! I love AGGGTM series and I feel like there she alway keeps the twists and mystery on the sweet spot. Here though, I started to feel the first half of the book was slow and the pacing did not match the rush of reveals towards the end. This could have been 70~100 pages less with 2/3 of the plot ...more
