I can't believe I've literally just read this for the first (and definitely not last) time. This is easily now in my top five books of all time. Jane Eyre is a badass! She is an independent woman and frankly, a little sassy! Mr. Rochester is probably (at least by today's standards...what's up with the Bronte sisters and their romantic male characters who are kind of jackasses?) a little crazy and codependent, but underneath it all, he's actually pretty sweet! Romance! Adventure! British people!
