This book just kept getting better and better my jaw was dropping every chapter towards the end. It was plot twist after plot twist.

So Bel was the main character and the book was through her point of view.Basically her mom who she didn't even properly know disappeared "16" years ago (iykyk).I found her a bit annoying at the start like she was so negative, but then I guess it must be weird welcoming back a mystery disappeared woman.I like how Jackson created parallels and although she wasn't as quick witted or as smart as Pip (from agggtm) she showed similar characteristics. AND THE PARRALLEL BETWEEN (BEL AND ASH) TO (PIN AND RAVI). Although it wasn't as stong of a relationship I still saw the links.

you know that saying 'mother like daughter'.Thta's wat first came to my mind and I thnk Jackon was trying to highlight this point.I mean they are both so alike in voice and in thinking.i felt so so bad after I found out the whole story.(no spoliers) I'm glad they got a happy ending (although i wasn't expecting one).

BRO I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT ENDING AT ALL. At the start I was making up my own assumptions thinking I was so smart but no.It was the most unlikely person ever.
and the clues was amazing like I would have never thought of that at all.

Overall I loved thiss book and I was not disspointed.Holly Jackson is one of the authors I will always trust to write an amazing book. ...more

I love the plot on a frightening level. The way that every single small detail was something to note and to remember, that you had to be vigilant, that you had so many guesses and yet not one of my many guesses was correct. I hated Rachel. I sympathized with Rachel. I loved Charlie. I was wary of Charlie. I hated Charlie. I loved Rachel. One thing is for sure, I read a lot, and there are so many good books I've read in my lifetime, but THIS, this is my newly favorite book. Now, and forevermore. 🌟
I love the plot on a frightening level. I genuinely believe she is the perfect main character, and one of my new favorite book girls. She is a protagonist, and she knows it. As Ramsey said, the heart of the story. 🩵
I cannot get over the way this book actually had me laughing out loud at one page, and spilling tears on the next. There was such good jesting, such perfect characters, such good clues that I suppose I wasn't clever enough to catch the way I should've. That's what I adore about Holly Jackson. The fact that I will ALWAYS be gasping at the unbelievable plot twists, that I will always be shivering and feeling my skin pebble with goosebumps at the nerve-wracking moments and at the spying, that I will always laugh at all the jokes the side characters say, that I will always support and admire the main character, that I will always, doubtlessly, cry at the ending. Always have, always will. Holly Jackson is a mastermind and she deserves every award out there, and I even dare say that THIS book was better than AGGGTM? That's rich coming from me, since AGGGTM is my favorite mystery. 🥹
This was a wonderful experience. It was unforgettable. Worth the years it took to arrive. I have stayed up way too late finishing this book last night, sobbing at the fact that Rachel suffered more than anyone ever should've, and at the fact that the domesticity of the mother-and-daughters moments was enough to split my heart into two. They all got the lives they'd always dreamed of. Bel knows the truth. Carter knows the truth. Rachel always knew the truth. Poor, darling Rachel. I love these characters. They all deserved better. I hope they live happily forever and ever and ever after. 🫶🏻😭
The feelings this book filled my bloodstream with were worth everything, and I'd give my firstborn to experience them again for the first time (I'm a teenager hehe) 😂
I suppose I have to address the elephant in the room. Charlie Price. I am so grateful he got the death he always deserved. The way he gaslighted not just Rachel, but also Bel, into believing they were losing their minds and forgetting everything actually made me lose MY mind. That cursed Santa mug! 🤬
Now onto something much sweeter. My baby Ash. Now am I just slow and daft, or does the ending mean that Bel and Ash will never meet again? Ok brb imma go spend the next fortnight sobbing with my face buried in my pillows. 🥴
I will just have to repeat the one brilliant truth: the GASPS that have escaped me throughout this reading experience and the freaking goosebumps. I have been wracked by huge shivers, just by the very idea of what happened, of how talented Holly is to be able to think of THAT. Honestly, I will say this, if I've given books well-deserved five stars before, this book actually deserves that amplified by infinity. Actual infinite stars. Also, THAT KISS. I think I died. I've never ever ever jumped up so high I almost broke the couch from exhilaration.
Bel’s eyes fell to the iPad, and she saw the way Ash looked at her, the soft curve of his open mouth, the slow burn in his eyes. Ridiculous, wasn’t he? On-screen, one of Ash’s hands floated toward her. Bel watched herself reach for the front of his overalls, pulling him in. She looked up. Their eyes met. Then their lips. Ash’s warm hand cupped the back of her neck, a different kind of shiver, one that moved down instead. Bel’s bottom lip slid between his, parting, like this was the easiest thing in the world. It didn’t feel pointless, it felt like everything had always been building to this, a glow that made her forget the knot ever existed. Ash’s nose bumped against hers, the hard corners of the iPad pushing against their bellies. Bel pulled away first, eyes heavy, lips stung.
I meannnnnn, OMFG. THAT'S SO HOT.
Ok this review is now too long, but I still have so much to say, but I'll just go recite them to my mom for the millionth time (I already told her everything this morning before I left for school 😂 and the book was successfully ingrained in my brain all day. Throughout history class I was just pondering "when will Ash and Bel meet again??" Don't blame me, love made me crazy.)! I reckon my mom wouldn't be mad at me, she seemed interested in reading the book, herself. I think I'm converting her into a reader. 😂😂
Last thing to say. Best book on earth. What is on Holly Jackson's mind now? Pls release another book within a short period of time 😭♥️

i really liked the concept of the story. after 16 years, Bels mom reappears but she might not tell the truth. so it’s up to Bel (and Ash) to find out what really happened.
in this book, there are a lot of twists and plots and you have to overthink literally everything. but i liked that. how you were made to trust a character just to later realise their were the villain was insane!

Omg, what the fuck did I just read!? This book, The Reappearance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson was everything you need in a good mystery. So many twists that I did NOT see coming.
