I am now banning myself from reading two standalone books in a row by the same author. The first book (five survive) always gives me too high expectations for the next one 😪
I tried rlly hard to love this book, also considering how Holly Jackson said this was maybe her best book yet, but overall I felt like I did not care about what was happening whatsoever.

new favourite book unlocked. do i have to say more?
i really liked the concept of the story. after 16 years, Bels mom reappears but she might not tell the truth. so it’s up to Bel (and Ash) to find out what really happened.
in this book, there are a lot of twists and plots and you have to overthink literally everything. but i liked that. how you were made to trust a character just to later realise their were the villain was insane!
also: i was so happy about this romantic sub-plot between Ash and ...more

what can i say? holly jackson never misses. ACTUALLY agggtm u might have a run for your money. the ending bad me legit floored and i am so excited for the agggtm tv show
