Okay so this is the first Dostoevsky book I read and OH MY GOD. WHAT A STUNNING AND BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN NOVELLA!! This felt like a dream you wake up from in the middle of a cold winter night, and as its beauty still remains fresh with melancholia in your mind, you write it down as poetry that by morning looks surreal, and yet more real than your own life.
