Never in a million years did I think I would be able to guess Holly Black's plot twist in a book. Idk why everyone's talking about the ending like it was unexpected.

I read this a year ago and for some reason never marked it in goodreads?? Probably because I didn’t know how to rate it but I remember loving it. I’ll probably reread it soon.
I remember being surprised it was in Wren’s pov and not Oak’s but I liked learning about their past, I think their childhood friendship was cute. And I remember how it had such a good cliffhanger but at the same time it was a bad thing for me because I couldn’t wait a year for the next book

SO GOOD. I don’t know if I will ever love it as much as cruel prince because jude and carden will never be beaten, but there needs to be a second one. It was a great return to the world of faerie.
