3.5 stars, Charlie fulfilled his role as the desirable male love interest, but at times I yearned for more transparency and less guarding from his feelings, which he comes to terms with by the resolution. Oh. My. God. I am obsessed with this book. With these characters and the plot. Normally I hate the betting trope (no matter what they are betting on) and so I was really nervous going into this book to see how the trope played out, but OH MY GOD LYNN PAINTER DEALED WITH IT SO WELL!!!!
