this was cute!! this was such a fun little romcom and wes bennett is a standard honestly. i really liked liz and i feel like maybe we’re the same person. no? just wishful thinking?but seriously i think she’s me
alright, anyways i don’t think this quite lived up to the hype for me personally and I don’t think I loved it as much as everyone else (i think i liked the do over more lol oops) but it was still enjoyable and I’d recommend !! ...more

AHHHH THIS BOOK WAS GOOD!! I was grinning like an idiot for practically the whole book, and even now as I write this review. The characters were absolutely amazing, and I loved how there are songs linked to certain moments of the book. It just helped me feel really connected to the characters to be able to listen to the song they were listening to. And the characters’ chemistry?? And banter?? Oh my gosh they’re flawless. Literally pls make this a series. Anyways, as you can probably tell, ...more

honestly, wes is the only reason i'm giving this book a 3.5 star rating
i couldn't exactly see the hype behind this book but the hype behind wes bennett? yeah i get it
i loved how he served the boy obsessed trope and how sweet, thoughtful and understanding he was towards liz
but speaking of liz, i kinda have mixed feelings towards her, she did come off as oblivious and an annoyingly cliché mad woman who was so blindly in love that she forgot there was a thing called common sense
my heart went out ...more

I remember when I read this for the first time, literally no one had read it, I literally knew nothing about it, it was not on booktok or booktwt and I'd started it accidentally because I was looking for another book with a similar title and could just not remember it and saw this one instead and the cover was so so pretty and i just randomly started it. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION
super cute and easy read! the only thing is i’m not really a fan of long chapters and this book had a lot of them :/ i’m also not a huge rom-com girly so there were a lot of references within the book i didn’t fully get
