This was the BEST YA romance I have ever read. It had everything I wanted and more. The main character Liz would be my best friend she loves music and making playlists for everything (I love doing that too), books, rom coms and is a hopeless romantic and wants to find a real high school romance love / true love. SOBBING what the heck I’m already done with this book??? I am so glad that I read it when I did instead of staring at it on my bookshelf. I love Wes and Liz so much omg!! This is definitely a 5 star read for me. also can we talk about the amazing song choices for this book!! This whole book in general was a masterpiece!! I mean, romance novels don't get better than this. This was the peek of smiling like an idiot until your cheeks hurt and gosh it was perfect in every sense of the word.
Wes Bennett is THE ultimate book boyfriend, he is perfect and smart and funny, and everything that came out of his mouth was utter perfection. This man could run me over and I would still thank him for it. No seriously. He literally could do no wrong.

AHHHH THIS BOOK WAS GOOD!! I was grinning like an idiot for practically the whole book, and even now as I write this review. The characters were absolutely amazing, and I loved how there are songs linked to certain moments of the book. It just helped me feel really connected to the characters to be able to listen to the song they were listening to. And the characters’ chemistry?? And banter?? Oh my gosh they’re flawless. even after my re-read, this is still one of my favourite books ever. liz and wes will forever be one of my favourite book couples. and don't even get me started on some of the quotes in this books....AGH.

honestly, wes is the only reason i'm giving this book a 3.5 star rating
i couldn't exactly see the hype behind this book but the hype behind wes bennett? yeah i get it
i loved how he served the boy obsessed trope and how sweet, thoughtful and understanding he was towards liz
but speaking of liz, i kinda have mixed feelings towards her, she did come off as oblivious and an annoyingly cliché mad woman who was so blindly in love that she forgot there was a thing called common sense
