This was the BEST YA romance I have ever read. It had everything I wanted and more. The main character Liz would be my best friend she loves music and making playlists for everything (I love doing that too), books, rom coms and is a hopeless romantic and wants to find a real high school romance love / true love. SOBBING what the heck I’m already done with this book??? I am so glad that I read it when I did instead of staring at it on my bookshelf. I love Wes and Liz so much omg!! This is definitely a 5 star read for me. also can we talk about the amazing song choices for this book!! This whole book in general was a masterpiece!! "I have been searching for a long time for somebody like you."
I mean, romance novels don't get better than this. This was the peek of smiling like an idiot until your cheeks hurt and gosh it was perfect in every sense of the word.
Wes Bennett is THE ultimate book boyfriend, he is perfect and smart and funny, and everything that came out of his mouth was utter perfection. This man could run me over and I would still thank him for it. No seriously. He literally could do no wrong.

whenever there's a massive booktok sensation and this one oddball rates it 1-star, i laugh at them bc im like - where did this dude's taste go? i never thought i'd be at the other end of that spectrum. 🙃

LIZ AND WES OWN MY HEART. can someone tell me where i could possibly find a Wes Bennett?? this will forever be a comfort book to me, i couldn’t put down this book at all, but I recommend this book if you really like romcoms, rivalry, enemies-to-lovers, boy next door neighbor. felt a roller-coaster of emotions for sure; and i most definitely love the mentions of taylor swift, metallica & popular romcoms.
even after my re-read, this is still one of my favourite books ever. liz and wes will forever be one of my favourite book couples. and don't even get me started on some of the quotes in this books....AGH.

Screaming, crying, throwing up because of how emotional and cute those last few chapters were-
