i really enjoyed this!! i read a couple of books in between starting this and finishing it so it took me a while to get through but not for lack of enjoyment
i think i’m in love with all of the hawthorne brothers just saying…i really liked all of these characters and the plot twists and riddles and it definitely gave knives out vibes especially at the beginning

Oh my gosh. This was the easiest five stars I’ve ever given. I was expecting to like it, but I didn’t know I would like this so much! I can’t wait for the second book!

Even though I was unsure of how to rate this book, I decided to go for five stars anyway because I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, there were some questionable things, lack of involvement of other characters and the fact that the plot wasn't as complex as I had hoped it would be after all the back and forth mystrey, but this was still a fun book to read, and the author did a wonderful job of holding my interest until the very end with her beautiful writing style. There was a lot of "Queen's Gambit"

wow this book was so so addictive. I loved the plot, the characters and that plot twist in the end had me! I couldn't stop reading this book. I devoured it in 24hours.

wow. that was a roller coaster to say the least. still don’t know if I’m team Grayson or Jameson but I love libbynash. they better get together in the next book or I will riot. this book was super fast paced and entertaining. it just didn’t give me that 5 star feeling yk? Anyways I definitely will be continuing the rest of the series.

I loved this so much! It had short chapters which I loved, it was fast paced, I loved the characters, the romance in it was amazing! I’m not 100% sure who I want Avery to be with because Grayson and Jameson are a both amazing! It is now one of my favourite ya mystery/ romance series. And I’m reading the hawthorne legacy right now!
