How do the high schoolers in Tijan’s books have lives like these! Does this really happen IRL? I can’t imagine growing up like this? Not to this degree anyway. Tijan is just brilliant and her writing is always exceptional. I have a hard time putting one of her books down after I start it. This one is no exception.
