I mostly audiobooked this, it was really good, but I think I should have combo read it. I would reread in the future as a combo at some point. I was pulled in a lot of different directions reading this, but I did enjoy it when I was able to squeeze in a chapter here or there. I liked the concept, and characters, it was easy to follow along with and there were a few twists I didn’t see coming so that was nice.

I super duper enjoyed this book.

I super duper enjoyed this book. I normally read contemporary romance, so diving into fantasy/paranormal romance was new for me. But man, am I glad I read this. The twists and turns of this world had me trying to guess which challenge was next, who was Ophie’s friend or foe, and whether or not Blackwell was a good match. I loved this! This was made even better by Laura Horowitz’s narration. So great!!
