I'm a huge fan of MDZS. I've watched the live-action adaptation and the first season of the donghua too. I've also read some of the manhua adaptation as well. As far as my pure enjoyment in reading the book, that's why I gave it 5 stars. Finally being able to read the original source with all the expanded world and expanded character development that was cut out or changed in the adaptations was really nice.
