If I had to describe this book in one word it would be RIVETING! This is a powerful, emotional book. Incredible read that makes you feel so much! Starr is a character you will quickly rally for. I LOVED this book because it was just incredible.
Dnf. Too real right now. I finished it tonight (2022) Such an important conversation starter on human kindness and treating people equally.
Through the main character Starr, whose family lives in the projects while she attends a private school in the burbs, Angie Thomas’ THE HATE U GIVE delivers a unique perspective to YA readers.
