A very dark, a very thrilling psychological mystery with lots of red herring , set in a storm ravaged island. Was immersed in the stormy read - to the extent of having related nightmares on 2 consecutive days and a feeling of surrealism throughout these days.
The ending baffled me. I would really love to watch the movie now.

"Real" and extremely entertaining for those who enjoy a good mind bender. Shutter Island had me on the edge of my chair and up late at night to finish it. I only hope that the movie is as good as the book. :)

Was a really good book until the end. Did not like how the book ended, kind of felt like a huge let down.
