The ending even though was not something I guessed it to be was to a degree disappointing. I like thriller books that make me feel I am picking up on every clue and still manage to show how i missed the key factors that lead to the climax. This one though, was said in a way that would only cater to my curiosity. Hence, I was annoyed by the climax.

There was an excellent build up and then....I just felt disappointed. I don't know. The writing was good. The ending was twisty, which I usually love. I don't know. Sometimes, books just don't connect, for any number of indescribable reasons. This was one. I give it 2.5 stars because I thought it started out well enough.

I picked up this book last year and at the time I was pregnant and apparently the pregnancy brain was in full beast mode because it made me DNF this book. The plot twists at the end were genius. Never did I imagine what happened ...not in a million year. This is easily one of my favorite reads this year 5 s

WOW!! That was the biggest twist I could imagine! Never in a million years would I have figured it out! I had 2 or 3 people in mind, and it was someone from left field. Way to keep me guessing. This was a great book. Will definitely be recommending it. Sooo thankful I was sent an ARC from #celadonbooks #TheSilentPatient
