This is a re-read for me and I am so happy I returned to this amazing world with these amazing characters again. The Hunger Games follows Katniss Everdeen as she is forced to fight in a yearly gladiatorial contest. Read this ages ago, and I honestly can't remember why I gave it 3 stars. I am interested in the newest book, so I am going to reread the original three.

I don't remember why I rated this as low as I did. The romance Peeta/Katniss romance bits were not my favorite, but overall this was a solid 4.5 star read this time around. ...more
