It's rare that I love a book, its voices and the writing, and dislike the characters. I'm just fine with that. This means to me that Flynn is a hell of a writer, authentic; she's done her job. Main characters Amy and Nick are tangible and seriously flawed. They're just like you and me...well, maybe not.

the beginning of the book really had me bored. this was a book chosen for our book club and i was really hating it. to me is seemed like a "ripped from the headlines" kind of read. Then i got to part two. WOW! This book was awesome. I hated the characters and loved them all at the same time. It gives crazy a whole new perspective.

Wow! This book kept me turning pages. I really liked the way the author wrote the chapters. One from the husband's perspective & the next from the wife's. I heard many didn't like the ending, but I thought it was fitting.

This is a very well written book. I enjoyed the switching of the POV between the husband and the wife. I even enjoyed not knowing who to "root" for, since they're both pretty unlikable characters. I have to wonder about the mind of the author to have come up with a character like Amy Dunne. She (Amy) kept me guessing right up to the very last page.
I can't wait to see how this translates to the big screen. ...more
