Wow. seriously - Wow! My niece recommended this book. I'd never heard of it. I must say, I would not have picked this book because I typically don't enjoy time travel books. Also - if you are going to read this, watch the first few episodes on tv. It helped me with the cadence and the Scottish tremendously. I could not put the book down. The Scottish sometimes made my brain hurt and I'd put the book down but pick it up again in five minutes. I fell in love with the characters. As a warning - not
