It is the first book I read by Neil Gaiman but I am sure it will not be the last. It is beautiful and hopeful and melancholic. It made me feel less alone.

"All monsters are scared.
That's why they're monsters."

I am dealing with my own demons and this just goes to show that you can overcome them. You have to be brave, you have to believe, and you have to see what is inside, not the outside wrappings. I love that Lettie's glow is a bunch of little lights ~ snippets of hope? ~ rather than a bonfire!
