I have heard great things about this book. My step-mother loves the whole series. I can't visit the book store without being bombarded by the cover. I diligently listened to over seventy percent of this story, and then began to skim through tracks. But, I give up.
In all fairness, this was my first audiobook, so it may be the medium and not the content. Someday, I might try again with the actual book.
But, really. Eragon's character just seems so helpless through the whole ordeal. I'm tired ...more

I read this at the urging of one of my sons. I was glad I did. It was a wonderful adventure & I think it should be a classic. Reminiscent of the Hobbit series.
