This is the premise of the book. 1200 pages of this. I... I... I just don't know what to say. Sure, it was a cute read most of the time. And, I guess I could overlook the mistakes in the book - the author not remembering the name of Sancho's wife, forgetting that Dapple had been stolen, etc. - I mean, it's not like they had good word processors back then.
But, I think I enjoyed The Life of Lazarillo de Tormes better than this. Both are from around the same time period a ...more
