A little predictable, a little flat, but still a good read. I didn't dislike it. It just isn't one of my favorites. The two main characters, Hazel and Augustus, aren't all that well- developed. They also seem to be in possession of some fairly advanced vocabulary for kids who are so sick and have missed so much school - at least when they are conversing. I liked it. I don't think I liked it as much as the general population likes it, but it was enjoyable. I am glad I listened to the audiobook - I think his books are probably more interesting to me as audiobooks.
The dialogue annoyed me at times (I just don't see teenagers saying some of the things that these teens said and at times they all seemed to have a very similar voice/way of speaking) and I wasn't an emotional wreck over this book like most people, but it was still good. I plan on readin ...more
