I want to say something good about this book because it's MARK TWAIN and all - so, here goes: The brilliance is in the style of writing. All of those southern accents and different dialects for different characters - amazing that one person could make them all seem so real!
That's all I've got.
I don't like dated southern novels, because I can't get past the common use of the term nigger. Even if it's a period piece. I'm just not comfortable with it.
