This book is on THE LIST and was recommended to me as a good "Halloween Read" by this group.

Creepy, but not terrifying. Well, maybe a little terrifying, but not paralyzingly terrifying if you get my meaning.

I have a piece of paper - almost exactly identical to this one - tucked between pages 620-621.

I am confused and have questions about the character?(s?) in this book. This is not the first time I have been confused by a book. It probably won't be the last. I have nothing intelligent to add to ...more

Shelves: own

I finished reading House of Leaves on thanksgiving day. I do not consider myself an excessive reader, although I do enjoy reading, but of the little amount of books that I have read before House of Leaves is definately a what I was needing to read. This book has so much to offer. It was amusing as well as sent chills down my spine.

While I finished the end of act two in the book I was actually listening to Godspeed You! Black Emperor which complemented what was going on as well as made it, mores ...more
