I really enjoy stories, regardless of medium, that are epic journeys. american gods is such, for lack of better words, a good read. It is set in this modern day environment. where immigrents when they came to american brought their gods with them; and in our modern time some are some are forgotten and most are replaced. Gaiman brings us to these worlds where we wish were true; in some cased we are glad they are not true and we are safely spectating.
