A trip to Lake Eden, Minnesota in late February brought the new Winter Carnival to the town while Hannah had to chase down who killed the star of a cooking show in her Cookie Jar's pantry. Andrea got to help her sleuth quite a bit, and I always enjoy the sisters doing this together. They make a good snooping team. #3 in the Hannah Swensen series. These books are easy to read, with enjoyable characters and great-sounding recipes (although I have yet to try one out or even write one down). Although Hannah owns her own business, she often leaves the baking to her partner Lisa while she goes off searching for clues. That reminds me a lot of the business situation I'm in. Not that my boss is sleuthing, but he's always taking off for a few hours here and there and leaving me to hold down the fort. I don't spend
