Totally blown away by this one. I knew it was popular, but I liked it a lot more than I expected. Super fast-paced and intriguing story with great characters and a fun storyline. Hilarious banter along the way and some pieces that reminded me of character interactions on the short Christmas film series, Prep and Landing. Highly entertaining.

the audio was excellent (4 stars), but the story line was just okay. the MC annoyed me and I liked every other character BUT Artemis.

This is not a book that I ever would have thought to read but it was the lesser of all manner of evils in an author challenge that I am part of so I dove in. I'm very glad I did. I really enjoyed this. A nice quick read with an original storyline. Fowl is a repellent individual but I can see that kids would love him.
