Another of Dick’s works to get caught up in a bit too many names and plot threads though they all tied together in the end, in typical fashion. Really, I should know to start making character notes in the inside front covers at this point. Although the story is interesting and the plot twists weird and wonderful, I consider this one of his “filler” works. This book is (unfortunately) not about drugs and space travel. Rather, this book is about transportation devices. There's the jet'ab, monojets, 'scutllers, etc. Sort of like Harry Potter where there's flying cars, flying brooms, floo-network, portkeys, apparition/disapparition, etc. It seems like both these authors were obsessed with novel ways to move the characters around.
