This is definitely one of my favorite books of all times. Now I have read it 3 times in Swedish and 1 time in English. I enjoyed it every time.
If you like history and adventure, this is a good book for you. The travels goes far and wide with action, slavery, freedom, fights, beautiful women and hidden treasures. And it has a lot of interesting characters in there.

Detta är förmodligen den bästa svenska bok jag läst. Nu har jag läst den både på svenska och engelska och nu senast lyssnat på den svenska, och den blir definitivt inte sämre av att lyssnas på. Jag passade på att lyssna på den medan jag åkte buss, det passade bra in i Röde Orms resor i Europa eftersom jag hade danskar, engelsmän, italenare, ungrare, portugiser och spanjorer som pratade runt omkring mig.
