This book DID live up to the hype. I was expecting a page-turner and that’s exactly what was delivered. Evelyn is an icon and boy, you really felt her come to life through the pages. Totally not what I expected this book to be about, but I’m so happy to finally have read it!

i would have read this so much sooner if i knew how much i’d love it. i so wish evelyn was real but then i would have been 10x more heartbroken than i already am. i cried obviously. this story is so thought out and intricate it’s so weird that it’s not true. taylor jenkins reid has the power to write the story of a fictional woman’s life from start to finish and makes you forget multiple times while reading that it’s not real. also you read all the things that evelyn did in her life that weren’t ...more

well. thank you booktok and booksta for hyping this up because it is actually so good and you guys didn’t ruin it good job. i have no words right now and that ending was so fitting for the story yet i hated reading it. what do i read now what do i even do. my hands down favorite character was harry cameron when they cast the film: HARRY STYLES MUST PLAY HARRY CAMERON. okay bye

I was worried about reading this book as I've heard a lot of great things and I was afraid that it wouldn't live up to the hype. I regret putting this off for so long. This was fantastic!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

speechless. this is one of the most amazing books I’ve ever read. the twists are so unexpected, it makes the book so much better because usually with books you can kinda guess where things are going or what happened but omg this was incredible
