Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan is a beautifully written novel that will leave you feeling emotionally fulfilled, after you’ve cried your eyes out. The story is set in a small town called Pelion, where Archer Hale, a reclusive man with a tragic past, lives in solitude. Bree Prescott, a young woman who is trying to escape her own painful past, moves to Pelion and is immediately drawn to Archer.

The characters in this novel are well-developed that you will feel like you know them personally. Archer

This was my second time reading this book. My opinion on this did not change at all.

There are a lot of things that I did not enjoy. My biggest Problem is how Bree's mental health is handled. She has these crazy nightmares and flash backs. She basically has PTSD. And then Archers "safes" her, she opens up to him. And then she is fine.
As if the only thing you need is some nice guy that you barely know listening to you.

In general is Brees and Archers relationship not healthy. She often treats hi

I did not think I was going to love this book as much as I did. I felt like I knew the plot from the beginning and had my suspicions (which were confirmed to be true), but it was still good and some I was not expecting. Archer’s character is the ideal fictional boyfriend. The perfect fictional boyfriend i wish existed in real life. This book deals with two characters who’ve experienced tragedy and grief, healing from that, and finding solace and peace within each other. Bree was a great characte ...more

It was a good romance story but I don't get why it has so many 5 star reviews. There a quite a few things that bothered me while reading.

1. Everything happened to fast (Guy has zero social skills but instantly falls in love with her?)
2. Girl has serious trauma but the moment she meets him she is fine???
3. The ending felt so weird and unrealistic
4. In general I wish we would have seen more about their relationship (You know cute dates and more tension before they were a couple)

This book was quite the emotional roller coaster! 3.5/5 however I do feel like there were some writing/grammatical errors that were overlooked that some of the other goodreaders here have also commented on.

I also felt like a lot of the characters trauma in this was conveniently forgotten at times, and this made me less interested in the story about halfway in. A lot of the cheesy dialogue at the end made my eyes bleed lol!

I am never going to recover. I love this book, so unique even though it’s small town romance and that’s been done more times than I’ve blinked. I cried so many times it’s actually embarrassing. 5 stars isn’t enough
