Shen: I love this world so much and the way Black mixes mafia shenanigans with conning and a coming of age story. There are some great twists in this that teenage me thought were the best thing ever, and all the characters (except one, whom I will hate forever with the fire of hell) feel like genuine people that exist outside of the plot. The romance is also one of the most angst-y I've had the pleasure of reading.
Overall, just a good time and a quick-paced read.
