The sixth in the Sigma Force series. This book focuses on early Celt/Druid history and genetically modified foods. Topics include the phophecies of Saint Malachy, the Domesday Book, food genetics, and world population issues. James Rollins never disappoints. I have to admit I never saw that ending coming. The climax to the end you couldn’t put the book down; not even for a second. It kept getting better page by page. I was surprised by all James twists and turns throughout the book and he really got me good. I was pleased with the ending so much so I had a big smile on my face….. yes I didn’t know which one the choice would be and in the end the choice Gray made was the best choice. The last book in the series (Last Oracle) was not my favorite. I’m not sure what it was but it didn’t have that “it” factor that seems to be in every other Sigma Force novel. Having said that, Doomsday Key brought back what Last Oracle did not. Could not put it down. Loved the character development and overall plot.
