A quick read filled with chills, thrills, and spills. I do enjoy the journey as always to lands far away that I would only read about and never travel to be there in real life. James Rollins does have a way about his writing that always has a few laughs, surprises in the pages, and I do wonder if there is a surprise in the next installment of Team Sigma Force. Overall I wanted more as the group was winding down. Therefore, I will have to read the next one in the series sooner rather than later.

***2014 Reread of Sigma Force***
The fourth in the Sigma Force series. This book focuses on bacteria and genetics. Topics include angelic script, cyanobacteria, and the connections of plague virus on the world. So far I think this was the least "page turner-ish" for me. This is also quite funny given the first time I read this was on a plane ride, and i breezed through it on that trip. Regardless, the book is still a good read and offers interesting conclusions based on fact but then extrapolated ...more
