god, this hit home on the often tumultuous relationship between an immigrant Asian mother and her oldest daughter; there were so many instances that felt a bit too personal, directly reflecting my own experiences with my culture, my parents, my extended family

Teared up so many times in public!!! Captures such a heartbreaking halfie experience…felt that. I would have liked it even more if food was a big interest of mine. Marks off because there was a significant amount of clunky sentences that it was distracting and would take me out of the experience pretty often. Otherwise…yeah the hype for this one makes sense.
