How could I ever think I’m hungry after reading this novel? In a fascinating way this book tells the days and weeks of a starving artist. All the MC (narrator) really cares about are his words on the paper. The reality of everyday life - finding a roof above one’s head, getting food after 3 days of not eating , falling in love, finding a publisher- put a heavy burden on the artist.
