Kafka's subtle genius can only be realized after reading his stories numerous times. You'll never be fully satisfied until you've put everything away and sat back and read the story in full without distraction, and giving a few hours to gnaw and chew on the work. Profound and dismal stuff. Recommend to anyone with any existential interest, or someone who enjoys a painful, sad experience from reading (and his stories do not fail to evoke both of those sentiments). ...more
